Margaret Wise Brown（玛格莉特·怀兹·布朗），1910年出生于纽约。1945年的一个清晨，一大早起床的Margaret Wise Brown一口气就把Goodnight, Moon 的文字写完。她曾经说过她写的许多故事都是来自于她的梦，Goodnight, Moon 就是其中之一。

自从1947年该书问世以来在全世界各种版本加在一起就已经卖出了一千万册，被纽约公共图书馆选入「本世纪具有影响力的经典书籍之一」。

有人说，在美国判断妈妈是不是合格，就看她会不会背Goodnight, Moon，因为一个好妈妈一定会每天晚上给孩子读这本书，读到会背。

绘本讲述了一只小兔子睡觉前对房间里的所以事物，对月亮，对星星，天空等都一一说晚安的故事。

这本被誉为所有人最喜爱的睡觉时间的绘本，确实会给人带来安宁，让不肯入睡的宝宝在一声声“晚安”中安静下来，和小兔子一样进入梦乡哦。
